THIS WORKS FOR ME (KIND OF)Jan 16, 2013
By Lois Brunner AS THE RESULT OF WASHING THEM, THE NONSLIP BACKING ON SEVERAL OF MY THROW RUGS NO LONGER HELD THE RUGS IN PLACE. I THOUGHT THAT BY USING THS PRODUCT, I COULD CONTINUE TO USE THE RUGS WHICH STILL LOOKED ACCEPTABLE ON THE SURFACE. HOWEVER, WHEN THE RUGS GOT DIRTY AND HAD TO BE LAUNDERED, THIS TAPE HAD TO BE REAPPLIED.

Great non-slip tape for laminate floorApr 09, 2012
By Joseph Barba I purchased the Rhino Grip 50-545 non-slip tape from Amazon.com for use on rugs on my new wood pattern laminate floor. It works great! For this specific purpose, you won't go wrong. Remember, though, that you need to follow directions and use enough tape in the proper patterns for maximum effect. Just follow the recommended application illustration on the package. When I was forced to use smaller pieces for a third rug at the tail-end of the tape, the reduced application still did the job. So...for "laminate floors" this tape works great when used properly. For such a low price, it's worth a try. Go for it!

Forget it!Jul 20, 2011
By Roy C. Myers
"Royal"
I just tried this strip to keep an area rug in place over carpeting. I following the instructions exactly. Supposedly, when you walk on the rug, some kind of adhesive is released to keep the rug in place. I tried this but there was absolutely no adhesion of the rug to the carpet. It moved around like it did before I tried the strip. I suggest using a double-sided tape instead. Then you will be sure to get the adhesion you need.

Not for carpet on carpetJun 06, 2011
By Judith O Doubleday This may work well to keep a carpet from creeping on a wood floor, but didn't work to keep a carpet on carpet from continuing to creep. Still looking for a solution.
