The best of 3 bladesApr 21, 2012

I'm redoing a bathroom in marble, including floors and shower. The bathroom is approximately 8'x 12'. I'm running this blade in an MK-101 saw. I've also tried a 7 inch Dewalt blade, and in my cheap harbor freight tile saw, its cheap blade. The black widow was by far the smoothest cut, although the Dewalt does an ok job (the harbor freight blade was horrible). There's approximately 540 tiles in the shower, so you can imagine how many cuts that is, although its not a lot of linear distance. I was concerned about blade wear, but so far the blade is holding up well enough. I'm sure it will make it through this project and well into the next project. Although I'm a newbie at tiling, I was really happy with this blade, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
works just fineJan 31, 2012
By weekendwarrior works much better than the cheap blade that came with my QEP saw. have only cut ceramic with it so far but have some harder stone on my next project so hopefully it can keep up. the blade that came with the saw didn't even make it through 2 jobs before being worthless even after using a dressing stick
QEP Black Widow Wet Cutting Tile Saw Blade is EXCELLENT!Jan 05, 2012

We recently installed 220 square feet of porcelain tile using a 10" Dewalt Wet Tile Saw equipped with this QEP Black Widow diamond blade. It cut the 18" tiles like a hot knife through butter! Every cut was smooth, straight, and right on! I was amazed how easily the job went thanks to this blade on my saw, and highly recommend it.
After approximately 50 full-width cuts, the blade is still very sharp, passing through a tile in just a few seconds. From what I read, I expect this blade to complete my 1,200 sq. ft. job before needing replaced. Time will tell, but I feel it has already proven itself.
