 Best Wood Floor CleanerDec 02, 2007

I've tried every product imaginable on the market and this one is the best for the following reasons:
1. I'm not allergic to it; the other floor cleaners give me bronchial asthma and make me sneeze;
2. It smells great, like a clean wood floor should smell; the other floor cleaners literally stink or they smell like a very strong disinfectant;
3. It leaves a nicer shine than any of the other floor cleaners;
4. I like that I'm offered the option to squirt the liquid onto the floor rather than spraying it; the other floor cleaners come with a sprayer already on the bottle for the most part.

I'm writing this review to agree with the original reviewer, and add the info suggested by a comment to that review.
This was the first hardwood floor cleaner I used on my newly installed hardwood floor a year ago. The store I bought it from stopped carrying it. I decided to try the Bona hardwood cleaner the flooring company recommended. I disliked the Bona product. I prefer the stream of the Minwax product, as opposed to the spray mist of the Bona product. Also my mop seemed to drag when I used Bona, and glide when I used Minwax. After using up the Bona product, I tried Zep hardwood floor cleaner, sold through Home Depot. I disliked the "industrial" smell of Zep, and really disliked the streaks it left on my floor. I didn't bother using that up. I threw it away. Still unable to find the Minwax product locally, I decided to try Murphy's Oil hardwood floor cleaner. I find that equal in quality to Minwax.

I have the "old hardwood" floors and 4 big dogs - do I need say more. This stuff is absolutely wonderful!!!! Cannot live without it.

I heard a lot of good things about minwax, and after carefully investigating different product I could use on my laminate floor I choose Minwax.This was the first time I had ever cleaned the floor and was very dissaponted in the results that I got. Minwax floor cleaner left a horrible sticky residue on the floor which I had to go back on my hands and knees and buff the stuff off. I will not use it again.
